CHAILLOUX Marick
Born in 1944 in Besançon (25) she entered at the age of 15 to work in the professional photo laboratory of her father Marcel Varret and at the same time obtained a diploma from the Vaugirard School of Photography.
She left Paris at the age of 34 to devote herself to the education of her four children while taking over a photo shop in Valence (Drôme); there she will train many knowledgeable amateurs in studio shooting, color enlarger prints and their developments in vats on Cibachrome paper, she also creates a photo gallery which she makes available provision of photo-clubs so that they exhibit their best photos each month.
His meeting with Willy Ronys encouraged him to persist in color without denying black and white.
Now retired, she continues, during her walks, to fix the images that challenge and touch her.
His taste for light, color, material, clean lines and reflections make his images the witness that ordinary emotions can arise leaving everyone room for their own imagination.
