TAARNBERG Line
Line TAARNBERG was born on August 6, 1964 in Copenhagen. She studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 1984 to 1992.
She is an artist who manipulates reformulations in her work. It reformulates, indeed, the masterpieces and the ancient myths to adapt them to our time. It is through the themes of different myths, such as love, abnegation, power and seduction, that she dramatizes her works.
According to her, the art reflects the period in which it is created – her interpretations of nymphs, heroes, and other mythical figures therefore reflect post-modern humans.
