Valerie Polizzano

The Artist was born in the observation, the Art of what surrounds us and overwhelms us; she delights in environmental study, which puts her on the lookout for our senses, through shapes, colors, lines and contrasts. Valérie Polizzano's insatiable curiosity led her to an academic education at the Beaux-Arts in Avignon (charcoal, red chalk, ink, pastel, acrylic, oil painting), to then allow her to work alongside a Italian Engraver / Painter, Flavio Parenti, his Mentor for many years. Abstraction then becomes, in parallel with his job as a graphic designer, a necessity, like oil painting his favorite field. From March 2013, the Painter Artist reveals himself; she feels the need to share and present her Creations to the Public, to exhibit in her Region, in France and in Europe (Personal Exhibitions, Contemporary Art Fairs, Art Galleries...). Her interest in the Aquatic and Environmental environment propels her integral Work into a bath of light, where transparency and fluidity hold a preponderant place. Each glaze, pictorial touch, graphics and spontaneous gesture, in a perpetual movement, capture the gaze and the attention of the Spectator until transporting him into a magical and enigmatic universe. The Author develops several Creations at the same time, paints with a knife and brush on different canvases at the same time, in the desire to immerse each work in the heart of multiple vibrant under-layers of glazes and oil paint. If we asked Valérie Polizzano about her influences, she would quote Georges Braque who wrote "I like the Rule which corrects the Emotion, I like the Emotion which corrects the Rule" and would tell you that she has always been seduced by the universe of Zao woo-ki and his calligraphy, the gestures and the "madness" of Georges Mathieu, just like the lyrical work of Kandinsky. And yet the hand of this Painter that we invite you to discover is guided by her instinct, her technique; the very essence of its own Existence, of this unique relationship which undeniably unites us all.
